How to Blend

For a balanced evening blend, start with this ratio and adjust to your preference:

  • 3 parts Chamomile
  • 2 parts Lemon Balm
  • 2 parts Passionflower
  • 1 part Skullcap
  • ½ part Lavender

Mix well and store in an airtight jar away from light and heat. Keeps well for up to 12 months. Increase passionflower or skullcap for a stronger effect; reduce lavender if you prefer a less floral cup.

Preparation Directions

Evening Tea: Use 1–2 teaspoons of blend per 8 oz of just-boiled water. Cover and steep for 7–10 minutes — covering the cup is important to retain the volatile aromatic oils. Strain and sip slowly 30–60 minutes before bed. Sweeten lightly with honey if desired.

Stronger Nightcap: Double the herb amount (2–4 teaspoons per 8 oz) and steep for 10–15 minutes covered. Best for those who need extra support winding down.

Cold Infusion: Add 2–3 tablespoons of blend to 32 oz of cold water and refrigerate overnight. Strain in the morning and sip throughout the evening hours for a gentle, sustained calming effect.
